World Cup: Money For England To Beat South Africa...but 11/10 Out At Quarter Final Stage!
William Hill have been surprised by money for England to beat South Africa at 13/8, with South Africa offered at 1/2. Strauss is the only one they are backing to be top bat at 3/1 and it is a similar story in the bowling with Swann popular at 9/4. England are 2/9 to make it out of the Group stage but 11/10 to be knocked out at the Quarter Final Stage.
?We thought punters would be keen to oppose England but the 13/8 has proved too tempting for many of our customers. That said the odds suggest England will fall at the next hurdle,? said Hill?s spokesman Rupert Adams.

Lib Dems Odds On To Flop At Next General Election
UKIP 25/1 to win seat, but LIB DEMS ODDS-ON TO DO WORSE IN NEXT GENERAL ELECTION
Following the result of the Barnsley by-election, William Hill are quoting the Lib Dems at odds of 2/7 to FAIL to poll as high a percentage of the votes cast for them at the last General Election - 23%- when the next one takes place. ?The disastrous result for the Lib Dems suggests they have plenty of work to do to before the next General Election if they are to emulate their performance in 2010. At one point during the last General Election campaign they were single-figure odds for an outright win ? they are now a three figure odds chance, at 100/1? said Hill?s spokesman Graham Sharpe. Hills offer 5/2 that the Lib Dems will poll over 23% next time round. **After finishing an unexpected 2nd in Barnsley, UKIP are quoted at 25/1 by Hills to win one or more seats at the next General Election.
WILLIAM HILL?Next General Election?..13/8 Hung Parliament; 7/4 Conservative majority; 15/8 Labour majority; 100/1 Lib Dem majority.
