WHAT DIVISION WILL HAMERS BE IN WHEN THEY KICK OFF IN OLYMPIC STADIUM?
WILLIAM HILL have opened a book on what division West Ham will be playing in when they kick off in the Olympic Stadium for the first time and offer 8/11 that they will be playing Premier League football at that stage ? but 16/1 that they will be in League One, or lower, by then.
Hills also offer 9/4 that there will be no visible athletics track at the stadium and 11/4 that they have installed retractable seating over the track, when they do start playing league games there.
Hills remain to be convinced that West Ham will be able to sell out the Olympic Stadium for their first competitive game there, 'Depending on what division they are in and how reluctant their fans are to travel to the new venue we think they could find it very difficult to sell out games and offer 7/4 that they will be able to do so for their first competitive game there' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
