Sam?s Grip As Favourite Loosens As Ice Skates Off

Vanilla Ice was voted off from Dancing On Ice last night surprising bookies and punters who had pegged Denise Welch as a near certainty to get the boot. Denise was odds on to go, while Vanilla Ice was 5/1 before the weekend?s shows.

?This weekend?s result represents the first real shock of the series, but Denise?s survival appears only to be a stay of execution as she is the 33/1 outsider to win the show,? said Hill?s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Sam Attwater?s position as clear favourite is in danger as he has drifted since this time last week and is now 4/5 (from 4/7), with Laura Hamilton 7/4 and Johnson Beharry?s odds have also shortened from 9/1 to 8/1.

William Hill Dancing On Ice:

Outright: 4/5 Sam Attwater; 7/4 Laura Hamilton; 8/1 Johnson Beharry; 16/1 Jeff Brazier; 16/1 Chloe Madeley; 33/1 Denise Welch

Bookies Hail Gunners' Multi Million Mix Up As Arsenal Odds On To Win Zilch - Again.

Arsenal odds-on to win nothing - again!
BOOKIES HAIL ARSENAL'S MULTI MILLION MIX-UP

THE Arsenal defensive mix-up which cost them the Carling Cup was worth £10 million to bookies. 'We faced a seven figure payout had Arsenal gone on to win the Quadruple and as much again had they lifted the Carling Cup itself, so that defensive mix-up was a £10million bonus for the bookmaking industry' said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe.'Punters had plunged cash on Arsenal as though defeat was out of the question - but Alex McLeish - and Ben Foster - found the answer.'
AND HILLS NOW MAKE ARSENAL ODDS ON TO ENDURE YET ANOTHER SEASON WITH NO TROPHIES. Hills offer 8/15 that the Gunners will finish the season trophy-less once more, but quote them at 80/1 to win the three remaining trophies they are contesting.
ARSENE WENGER is 9/1 with Hills to cease to be Arsenal manager by the first day of next season, but 1/25 to remain in place. 'Just how long will the Arsenal fans remain loyal to Arsene Wenger if his trophy-less run continues' asked Hill's spokesman Sharpe.

Ireland Keep Hopes Alive...just: England Favs Across The Board

Ireland hung on to defeat Scotland in Sunday?s Six Nations tie and William Hill make Ireland 16/1 to win the Six Nations, behind England at 1/9 and France at 7/1 Hills took bets of up to £12,000 at 6/4 before the weekend on England winning the Grand Slam, for which, following the victory against France, they are now 8/15. For no side to win the Grand Slam is priced at 11/8. Scotland on the other hand are 11/4 to finish bottom of the table. Ireland are 4/1 to win the triple crown, while England are 4/7.

?Ireland will be hunting down the Triple Crown now, although England will be desperate to scoop the Grand Slam making the last round of fixtures all the more special,? said Hill?s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Six Nations Odds:

Outright: 1/9 England; 7/1 France; 16/1 Ireland; 331 Wales; 250/1 Scotland

Grand Slam: 8/15 England; 11/8 No Winner

Triple Crown: 4/7 England; 13/5 No Triple Crown Winner; 4/1 Ireland

To Finish Bottom: 1/4 Italy; 11/4 Scotland

Avram 5/4 To Defy Odds Again As City Title Odds Drift

CITY TITLE ODDS DRIFT

MANCHESTER CITY are now 50/1 outsiders to lift the Premier League title with William Hill who make United 1/2 favourites with Arsenal 15/8; Chelsea 20/1 and Spurs 125/1.

Avram 5/4 to be there next season:
GRANTED YET ANOTHER REPRIEVE?

AVRAM GRANT, seven times favourite to be the next Premier League manager to go this season, has been lengthened from 4/6 to 6/5 by William Hill after his side's win over Liverpool. Hills then offer 7/2 Ancelotti; 7/1 Martinex and Moyes; 14/1 McLeish. It is 6/5 that no more managers go this season. 'Grant is the great survivor and is yet again defying the odds' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills offer 5/4 that Grant will still be Hammers' boss on the first day of next season, 4/7 that he will not.

HILL'S RELEGATION ODDS1/3 Wigan (9/4 stay up); 5/6 WBA (5/6); 10/11 W Ham (4/5); 5/4 Wolves; 6/4 Blackpool; 5/1 Birmingham; Blackburn.

In Cole-d Blood: Ashley Favourite To Visit The Cop Shop

Ashley Cole has been made the 8/1 joint favourite with William Hill to be the next Premier League player to be arrested following reports that he shot a student with an air rifle. Joey Barton is also 8/1, while John Terry is the 10/1 third favourite.

?Rather bizarrely, reports are suggesting that Ashley Cole shot someone with an air rifle and it could well be that his bad boy ways are not behind him just yet,? said Hill?s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Hills have already paid out on Craig Bellamy and Jack Wilshere this year and the odds suggest that Ashley Cole could make it a ?hat-trick of hoodlums.?

Drogba On His Way ? You Can Bet On It

DROG ON HIS WAY? YOU CAN BET ON THAT.

WITH REPORTS suggesting that Drogba is unsettled at Chelsea, William Hill are quoting him at 13/8 to have left the club by the first day of next season, while his under-pressure manager Carlo Ancelotti is a 5/6 chance to leave by then. 'Everyone agrees Chelsea have an ageing side and the break up has to begin sooner or later, and if they win nothing this season it may well be sooner. The arrival of Torres could be advance warning of a changing of the old guard' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Wigan Favourites For Bottom Spot After Wolves Golden Performance

Wolverhampton Wanderers have drifted from 4/5 to 2/1 for relegation with William Hill after they moved out of the relegation zone with victory against Blackpool, while their opponents, are 9/2. Wigan are the 9/4 favourites to finish bottom of the Premier League and 2/5 to get relegated after their defeat to Manchester United, who are 8/15 to win the league ahead of Arsenal at 15/8 and Chelsea at 20/1.

?Manchester United did not play particularly well today, but still managed to stick four past a hapless Wigan and things are looking bleak for them,? said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.

Hills have been inundated with punters backing Arsenal to win the Quad. Hills are offering 100/1 that Arsenal bag the Carling Cup, FA Cup, Premier League and The Champions League and could now pay out a six figure sum if Wenger?s men do the business. ?Our punters seem to be of the opinion that Arsene Wenger has been saving up all of their trophyless seasons in return for one big one.?

You Bet Treacherous Conditions Could Cause Oscars Slip Up

With rain forecast for the Oscars William Hill are offering 10/1 that one of the celebrities attending slips whilst walking down the red carpet and falls over. The temperature is also set to be unseasonably cold and Hills are offering odds of 3/1 that it snows while the celebrities are walking down the red carpet.

?As well as having to worry about whether someone else is wearing the same outfit as them, the celebrities will now have to concentrate most of their attentions on staying upright in the treacherous conditionsand they won?t have their stunt doubles to do it for them,? said Hill?s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Banksy?s film, Exit Through The Gift Shop, is the 5/2 second favourite to win the best documentary feature award at the Oscars. There has been a lot of talk in Hollywood entertainment circles that should Banksy turn up to the Oscars, he may well do so in his famous monkey mask. Hills are offering 5/1that whoever collects the award if Exit Through The Gift Shop wins, will be wearing a monkey mask at the time.

The King?s Speech could be set to sweep the board with the biopic of King George VI 1/5 to win the best film and star, Colin Firth 1/66 to scoop the best actor award. Hills have already paid out on the King?s Speech once after bets as big as £2000 were placed at 1/50. Hill?s are also offering 100/1 that The King?s Speech beats Titanic?s (and Ben Hur?s and Return Of The King?s) current record of 11 Oscars by scooping all 12 awards that it is nominated for. Britain has four representatives in the big five categories (Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Director) and Hills offer 20/1 that Colin Firth, Tom Hooper, Helena Bonham-Carter and Christian Bale all win their respective awards and 50/1 that none of them win.

?The odds suggest that King Colin may well have to spruce up his acceptance speech one last time,? said Hill?s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Oscars Odds:

RED HOT GUNNERS GET BACKING OF SEX PISTOLS!

SEX PISTOLS' star, John 'Johnny Rotten' Lydon is backing red hot Carling Cup favourites Arsenal by staking a £500 bet on them to lift the trophy - with the potential £625 returns to be donated to the Holidays4Heroes charity. 'The Sex Pistols permitted William Hill to use their hit record 'Pretty Vacant' in an ad campaign and the £500 bet

ARSENAL will cost bookies millions if they win all four trophies they are still contesting, and William Hill have slashed their odds from a pre-season 1000/1 to 100/1 to score an unprecedented Quadruple. 'After a trophy drought for several years Arsenal fans are convinced this is their year and we already face a seven figure payout which could ride to eight if they get trophy number one under their belt. Punters are betting up to £500 a time on them to win all four trophies' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe,

The King?s Speech 100/1 To Sink Titanic...will Banksy Be Monkeying Around?

Banksy?s film, Exit Through The Gift Shop, is the 5/2 second favourite to win the best documentary feature award at the Oscars. There has been a lot of talk in Hollywood entertainment circles that should Banksy turn up to the Oscars, he may well do so in his famous monkey mask. Hills are offering 5/1that whoever collects the award if Exit Through The Gift Shop wins, will be wearing a monkey mask at the time.

The King?s Speech could be set for Oscars glory this weekend according to William Hill, with the biopic of King George VI 1/5 to win the best film and star, Colin Firth 1/66 to scoop the best actor award. 16/1 England Drop The Ball Once More

?Schoolboy fielding? was the order of the day when England took to the pitch to face the Netherlands on Tuesday as Ryan ten Doeschate was dropped whilst in his 40s and went on to score 119. William Hill are offering 16/1 that any Indian player is dropped on his way to reaching a ton against England early on Sunday and Even money that England drop a catch at any point of the innings. The home nation are 1/2 to claim the two points, while England are 13/8 to silence the crowd. Sachin Tendulkar is the biggest sporting name in India and the Little Master is 10/3 joint favourite to top-score for India along with Virender Sehwag. Andrew Strauss top-scored for England against the Netherlands and he is 10/3 joint second favourite to score the most runs with Kevin Pietersen, just behind Jonathan Trott at 3/1.

?Even if England only perform half as badly in the field against India, as they did against Holland, the odds suggest that the hosts will capitalise on any weak fielding,? said Hill?s spokesman Joe Crilly.

TO WIN PREM TITLE..8/13 Man U; 7/4 Arsenal; 16 Chelsea; 25 Man C; 125 Spurs
12/1 UNITED-CITY 1-2 IN PREM
William Hill believe that Man U will win the Premier League title, with Arsenal as runners-up, and make that outcome their Even money favourite in their ?Premier League Straight Forecast? market, in which a Man U ? Man C outcome is 12/1 ? and 50/1 vice versa. ?At the moment it looks more than likely that United and Arsenal will fill the first two places in the Premier League, but with United in particular facing tough matches against title rivals and both of them playing on more than one front with a Treble or Quadruple at stake there is time for dramatic changes at the top? said Hill?s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

With neither Nick Clegg nor William Hague emerging from the Libyan situation with much credit, William Hill have cut Clegg from 7/4 to 13/8 to cease to be Lib Dem leader when the General Election comes round, and Hague, for the second day running, from 20/1 to 16/1 to cease to be Foreign Secretary by the end of March 2011. ?Neither Mr Clegg nor Mr Hague will emerge from the current Libyan situation with their reputation enhanced and it could ultimately cost either or both of them their jobs? said Hill?s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Hills also offer 6/1 that Clegg will quit and become European Commissioner.

Ashton Dive To Slam French!

William Hill punters have the utmost confidence in England bagging a win against France this weekend and continuing their hot streak until the end of the Six Nations - with bets of up to £12,000 being staked on England winning the Grand Slam at 6/4.

Hills are guaranteeing top price on England for their Six Nations tie against France until kick-off at five o?clock Saturday. The home side are offered at 1/2 to win, France are 9/5 while the draw is 20/1. Chris Ashton is 15/2 to open the scoring for England and 7/4 to continue his rich vein of form by scoring anytime during the match, while he is 9/4 to do his famed swan dive celebration while scoring a try. He is 25/1 to drop the ball whilst showboating.

?England?s match against France is the biggest test of their Six Nations credentials so far, but our punters are confident that they can get the win and go on to claim the Grand Slam,? said Hill?s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Andrew Sheridan returns to the side at loosehead and Hills are offering 14/1 that he marks his return by scoring a try at any point during the match. Chris Ashton is 15/2 to open the scoring for England and 7/4 to continue his rich vein of form by scoring anytime during the match. The match is expected to be very close with Hills giving France a five point start and offering 10/11 that they win the handicap. England are 4/6 to score the first try while Les Bleus are 6/5 to cross the line first.

Wales are the overwhelming favourites to overcome Italy in Rome, priced at 1/6 with William Hill, with Italy 7/2.
